SUBSTANCE: proposed cast iron contains the following constituents, mass-%: carbon, 2.5-3.0; silicon, 0.8-1.2; manganese, 2.0-2.5; chromium, 16.0-20.0; boron, 0.1-0.2; niobium, 0.1-0.2; nickel, 0.1-0.2; copper, 0.5-1.0; zirconium, 0.1-0.2; calcium, 0.01-0.02; the remainder being iron.
EFFECT: enhanced hardenability of cast iron.
