SUBSTANCE: cast iron contains, mass.%: carbon, 2.2 - 2.6; silicon, 1.2 - 1.6; manganese, 20.0 - 25.0; aluminum, 1.0 - 2.0; vanadium, 0.5 - 1.0; calcium, 0.01 - 0.02; nickel, 1.0 - 1.5; boron, 0.1 - 0.15; antimony, 0.005 - 0.01; iron, the balance.
EFFECT: improved wear resistance of cast iron.
