FIELD: ventilation or conditioning of air.
SUBSTANCE: air heater comprises well with branch pipes for supplying external air and discharging inflowing air. The branch pipe for supplying external air is mounted in the bottom section of the well that receives the pad with perforated grid and heat exchanger that underlies the grid and is connected with the inlet and outlet pipelines of an industrial water drain system. The water is supplied from the pad to the pressure water line and enters the collectors of the water spraying system provided with nozzles of the spraying chamber arranged upstream and downstream of the droplet catcher. The branch pipe for inflowing air receives the heater for additional heating of air. The air heater heats the air up to a temperature of 0.2-1°C, the velocity of air in the spraying chamber is up to 3 m/s, the size of water drops reaches 300 μm, spraying coefficient is equal to 0.03-0.2 kg/kg, and water pressure upstream of the nozzle is less than 2 atm. Each of the nozzles is made of housing with inlet opening, lid, sealing spacer interposed between the housing and the lid, spring interposed between the lid and swirler made of a overturned cylindrical sleeve mounted with a spaced relation to the housing. The swirler has at least two rows of throttling holes. The nozzle insert made of a conical washer is set in the bottom section of the housing coaxially to the cylindrical surface of the swirler.
