FIELD: optics.

SUBSTANCE: light polarizer is made in form of interconnected rectangular parallelepiped and guiding prism, where parallelepiped has three truncated angles in form of prisms, isosceles triangular bases of which belong to mutually perpendicular sides of parallelepiped, and one side of each prism is the cutoff plane, which forms one of three working surfaces of polarizer. Working surfaces are positioned in such a way, that condition of full internal reflection of light beam falling onto them is fulfilled.

EFFECT: absence of color distortions in small-sized polarizer.
