FIELD: conveyer construction, particularly devices to load belt conveyers with material having small and medium particle dimensions and with sorted loads.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises inclined gutter secured to frame and inclined to horizontal line. The gutter has concave profile in cross-section. Front gutter edge is spaced over load-carrying belt section. Front gutter edge has curvilinear elliptical cut symmetric about longitudinal gutter axis and directed to side opposite to load-carrying conveyer belt movement direction. Maximal cut width and depth thereof may be calculated from the following correlations: B-b=g(sinβ-f cosβ)·t2+a, l=v·t·cosα, t=[(v·g-1sinα)2-2g-1h]0.5-g-1v·sinα, here b is maximal cut width, m; B is gutter width, m; l is cut depth defined in horizontal plane, m; t is time of load movement along ballistic trajectory from cut edge to belt surface, s; v is load movement velocity at cut edge, m/s; a - maximal conveyed particle size, m; α is angle of gutter inclination at cut edge, deg.; β is average gutter side inclination angle at gutter edge, deg.; f is friction coefficient between load and gutter bottom; h is height of cut edge projection over belt surface relatively front gutter end, m; g is gravitational acceleration, m/s2.
EFFECT: increased operational reliability and elimination of guiding sides.
