FIELD: oil industry, particularly for well operation, damaged production string sections and behind-the-casing flow detection.
SUBSTANCE: method involves providing well with flow string; injecting working agent in reservoir via flow string for 3 or more days; stopping well and performing technological time-delay for 1-2 days; carrying out gamma-ray logging and thermometry in flow string along with temperature anomaly interval determination from curve representing temperature distribution along well depth; pumping water via flow string or hole annuity into reservoir after well thermometry and background temperature distribution along well depth determination; performing secondary well thermometry and temperature distribution recording; comparing temperature distribution curves obtained before water injection and after water injection in reservoir; determining damaged area from total interval of discontinuous gamma-ray logging index change and thermometry temperature anomaly interval. The discontinuous temperature anomaly interval change is section of curve representing temperature distribution over well depth shaped as zigzag or step as main curve has the same shape upstream and downstream of section to be analyzed.
EFFECT: increased reliability of damaged production string section detection.
