FIELD: measuring technique.

SUBSTANCE: method comprises maintaining a given pressure level in the control space with the use of a control circuit by measuring the pressure in the control circuit and in the space and comparing them one with the other and with the reference pressure level. When the pressure level in the control space deviates from the reference level, the amount of gas required to be introduced to or removed from the space is calculated thus maintaining the pressure above the pressure level in the control space if the pressure should be increased and below the level if the pressure should be decreased. The pressure difference between the control circuit and control space is maintained to be sufficiently small.

EFFECT: simplified method and device.
