FIELD: passive radar means; multipoint hyperbolic radiator location to control displacement of objects indoors.
SUBSTANCE: electromagnetic microwave pulsed signal arrives from radiator at receiving system that has N (N≥3) receiving centers, differences in moments of signal arrival at different receiving centers are found, receiving centers are grouped into various triplets, each being used as triple-center hyperbolic locating system used to evaluate primary estimates of radiator location and respective radiation moments; radiator location density probability is determined at each of three-dimensional space points obtained. Primary estimate of radiator location corresponding to three-dimensional point where probability density is maximal is assumed as resultant estimate of radiator location.
EFFECT: enhanced precision of radiator location, including with noise suppressors.
