FIELD: physics, measurement.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to facilities of passive radio location, in particular to methods for multi-point detection of radiation sources location, and may be used to monitor motion of radiating objects and reflectors inside the premise. Substance of invention consists in the fact that pulse electromagnet superhigh frequency (SHF) signal of radiator or reflector is received by receiving system, comprising N (N≥8) receiving points (RP), moments of signal arrival to RP are defined, RP are broken down into various triplets of hyperbolic system of location detection, which are used to calculate primary assessments of generalised locations of radiation sources, including their coordinates in plane and moments of radiation, absolute and relative maximums of these assessments grouping values are identified. Coordinates of points that correspond to absolute maximum of grouping value and one of remaining ones, most closely corresponding to radiator and reflector, are accepted as assessments of coordinates of the first and second source of radiation, by comparison of calculated moments of their radiation, one of these sources are related to radiator, and the other one - to reflector.
EFFECT: detection of location of both radiator and reflector, and higher accuracy of radiator location detection.
