FIELD: electric engineering, in particular, electronic launch regulation devices, intended for igniting and maintaining burning of gas-discharge lamps with heated electrode, including mercury and amalgam lamps of ultraviolet range, used for disinfecting various substances.

SUBSTANCE: launch regulation apparatus contains following components in serial connection with each other: filter, rectifier, corrector of power coefficient, two blocks of controlled inverters, lamp block and control block. Power is supplied to lamp electrodes by one of controllable inverters, while second inverter provides discharge current in the lamp and is in disabled state during period of full warming of electrodes, as a result, voltage between lamp electrodes is fully absent.

EFFECT: increased possible amount of start-stop cycles and increased service life of lamp without dissipation of electrodes.
