METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PSYCHO-PHYSIOLOGICAL DIAGNOSING FUNCTIONAL CONDITION OF SCHOOL CHILDREN Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC A61B5/16

Abstract RU 2319445 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: total number of symbols and errors during browsing of random sequence of symbols and pressing corresponding buttons is measured in case when two unlike randomly chosen symbols, accepted as stimulus, appear on screen as well as neutral symbols during 2 minutes before and after lesson. Difference in number of browsed symbols within +-5% is taken conditionally as absence of changes in functional state of school child, and number of errors within +-0,5% for 500 symbols and time of motor-vision reaction within +-10%. Device for estimation of psycho-physiological diagnosing functional state of school children has electronic circuit with single-crystal microprocessor made for performing control, functions of forming of symbol random sequence, for fixing time period of testing, for collection and storage of experiment data in memory. There is keyboard connected with microprocessor. Two keys of keyboard intend for giving answers for symbols chosen by tested person, and one more key intends for neutral stimulus. Device also has screen with photodiode array provided with lines and columns of screen driver, serial port RS-232 connected with computer and intended for reception of data on sequence of shown symbols a well as on number of viewed stimuli, availability of errors and tested person's motor-vision reaction.

EFFECT: less labor input of testing; ability of testing big groups of tested persons; shortened time consumption on data processing.
