FIELD: plastic working of metals, possibly manufacture of forging machines.
SUBSTANCE: forging hammer includes guiding tubes, falling weight, table and lower platform with cylindrical cavities. In said cavities plungers are arranged in such away that their lower plane rests upon table and their upper plane rests upon liquid column and lower platform. Forging hammer also includes one-way action die set and upper platform with cylindrical cavities filled with compressed air. In said cavities double-action plunger-die sets provided with pins and having upper part in the form of punch are arranged. Falling weight is in the form of platform to which punch of upper die set and lower die of lower double-action die set are secured. Sheet to be deformed by means of punches of plunger-dies sets is secured to lower side of said lower die of lower die set in order to provide deforming of sheet by means of punch of upper die set. It is possible to deform three sheet blanks during one working stroke of falling weight.
EFFECT: improved accuracy of forged parts, increased useful time period of tools.
