FIELD: plastic working of metals, possibly manufacture of machines for forming operations.

SUBSTANCE: hammer press includes guiding tubes, falling weight and table. Lower die and platform with cylindrical cavities filled with loose material are mounted on table. In said cavities double-side action plunger-die sets having lower die in their upper part are arranged. Their lower plane rests upon loose material and they form punches for deforming sheet in lower die mounted on table. Falling weight is in the form of upper monolithic platform provided with vessel filled with liquid and lower platform with cylindrical cavities that are communicated with said vessel and filled with liquid under atmospheric pressure. In said cylindrical cavities double-side action plunger-die sets are arranged. Die of upper die set is arranged between upper and lower platforms. Plunger-die sets of falling weight have punches in lower part; their upper plane rests upon liquid in cylindrical cavities of lower platform of falling weight and elastic member.

EFFECT: possibility of deformation during one working stroke of falling weight of several sheet blanks, improved accuracy of ready parts, increased useful life period of tools.
