FIELD: wood-working industry.

SUBSTANCE: the machine has a bed frame, ring saws installed on a rotary shaft, carriage moving on guides, carriage moving device. The carriage moves under the ring saw rotary shaft, it consists of two main platforms coupled by an axle device for movement of one of the main platforms on the axle device for setting of distances for the timber blank length, having a lock for fixing on the axle device after setting of the assigned distance. Each of the main platforms has a fixed bearing plate and two moving plates located in the longitudinal directional direction relative to the carriage longitudinal axis, joined to the guides of the moving plates and the shaft with a right-hand and left-hand thread located perpendicularly to the fixed bearing plate for provision of an increase or decrease of the distance between the moving plates during operation of the rotary mechanism of the shaft with a left-hand and right-hand thread to this or that side, as well as a rack installed vertically on the main platform but having dimensions tolerable for passage under the rotary shaft o the ring saws. Installed on one bearing plate is the device for moving the rack in the longitudinal direction relative to the carriage longitudinal axis for clamping the ends of the timber blank by two racks whose teeth are directed to one another.
