FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention may be used in production of machines for length cutting of wood. Machine comprises bed plate fixed on vertical supports, on which sawing head is installed with the possibility of longitudinal motion. Bed plate is arranged in the form of fixed horizontal profile beam. Sawing head is arranged in the form of movable trolley that embraces the beam with two side electric motors fixed on it, which are installed with the possibility of synchronous vertical displacement, on shafts of which disk saws are installed in single horizontal cutting plane. Cutting plane of saws is parallel to horizontal diametral plane of sawed log.

EFFECT: simplification of machine design and improved quality of manufactured produce.
