FIELD: transport engineering; power-assisted steering mechanisms.
SUBSTANCE: proposed steering mechanism has screw installed in case and mechanically connected with distributor shaft-spool, screw being mechanically coupled through piston-rack with sector of hydraulic booster. Mechanism to cut off hydraulic booster in extreme positions of piston-rack is essentially spring-loaded plungers. Said plungers arranged in channels of piston-rack engage with adjusting screws. Screws are connected with case and distributor housing by threaded joint, and their cylindrical shanks get into channels of case and distributor housing. Spring-loaded plungers are arranged separately in blind channels of piston-rack. Axial channels are made in plungers at one its sides and open radial and radial bypass channel are made which communicate with axial channels. Inner ring grooves are made in piston-rack connected through channels with working spaces of steering mechanism. Radial bypass channels of plungers are made for connection with inner ring grooves of piston -rack in its extreme positions.
EFFECT: improved reliability of hydraulic booster cut off mechanism.
