METHOD OF STORAGE OF AGENT IN RESERVOIR PROVIDED WITH TOP OUTLET AT TEMPERATURE BELOW ITS HARDENING POINT Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC B64D37/14 B64G5/00 F17C6/00 

FIELD: rocketry; chemical industry; combustible product and fuel supply systems; mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: for storage of agent, use is made of reservoir (1) provided with upper drain and discharge pipe line; proposed method includes partial filling of working space of reservoir through pipe line (2) with agent in liquid state of aggregation at temperature above its hardening point followed by cyclic drainage of agent in portions which are lesser than working volume of reservoir. After drainage of each portion when temperature of remaining agent in reservoir (1) drops to hardening point, compressed gas under pressure is fed to drain-discharge pipe line; pressure of compressed gas exceeds hydrostatic pressure of remaining agent; channels for through passage (9) are formed in reservoir beginning with shear (10) of pipe line as far as surface of agent contained in reservoir, after which portions of agent are added. Proposed method makes it possible to ensure cyclic filling of reservoir with highly toxic aggressive liquids under conditions of storage at temperature below hardening point.

EFFECT: considerable reduction of power requirements.
