FIELD: rocket construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aerospace engineering, in particular, to simulating the process of gasification of unspent residues of liquid rocket fuel components (RFC) in tanks of a spent stage of the carrier rocket (CR). Common process of simulation is divided into two stages. At the first stage determined are the chemical composition and physical-chemical parameters of the synthesized heat carrier (HC). At the second stage determined are coefficients of heat and mass transfer, composition of the gasification products in time. Selection of real gas-generating compositions is performed from the conditions of maximum efficiency of the onboard gasification system. Device for implementing the method includes an experimental plant containing a tray for liquid RFC, HC supply and measurement systems. Device additionally includes cylinders containing the HC and chemically stable gaseous components of the HC, connected via controlled valves with a collector connected to the heater, humidity and flow rate sensors.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is bringing the conditions of carrying out experiments to real ones with the possibility of using the experimental base in scientific and educational purposes.
