FIELD: metallurgy industry; other industries; methods and the devices for decarbonization of the steel melt.
SUBSTANCE: invention is pertaining to the field of metallurgy, in particular, to decarbonization of the steel melt in the metallurgical ladle. The method provides for the melt treatment in the converter furnace with oxygen and if necessary - with the inert gas with the help of the blowing device containing the upper purge tuyere with the Laval nozzle. At that at the carbon content in the steel melt exceeding 0.3 mass % the oxygen is fed to the steel melt through the tuyere equipped with the first Laval nozzle, in number of D1. At the carbon content in the melt less than 0.3 mass % the oxygen is fed through the purge tuyere equipped with the second Laval nozzle in quantity of D2, at that D2 <D1. Usage of the invention ensures more cheap and effective efficient decarbonization of the steel melt.
EFFECT: invention ensures more cheap and effective efficient decarbonization of the steel melt.
