FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method includes introduction at the first stage into basic melt of alloying carrier, which are melted and then recovered with receiving of the first pre-alloyed melt at additional reductant supply, recycling slag and/or slag-forming and power sources, and also under the influence of top and subsurface blowing by oxygen-containing medium. At the second stage into the first pre-alloyed melt there are fed alloying carriers and, if necessary, basic melt. Then alloying carriers are melted and then reduced with receiving of the second pre-alloyed melt at additional feeding of reductant, slag-forming and ancient power sources, and also under the influence of top and subsurface blowing by oxygen-containing medium. At the third stage to the second pre-alloyed melt there are fed alloying carriers, particularly ferroalloys, and if necessary - basic melt. Then there are fed slag-forming and under the influence of top and subsurface blowing by oxygen-containing medium it is implemented decarbonation process and alloyed melt is received with specified composition and specified temperature.
EFFECT: cost reduction and matching of melting time with casting stroke in line at continuous-casting machine.
