FIELD: metallurgy industry; other industries; methods of extraction of lithium from the lepidolite concentrate.
SUBSTANCE: invention is pertaining to metallurgy, in particular, to reprocessing of lepidolithium concentrates. The method provides for grinding of the concentrate, sulphatization of the ground concentrate with sulfuric acid and formation of the water-soluble lithium sulfate and the insoluble siliceous cake, the water leaching of the sulfatized concentrate and separation of the solution of lithium sulfate from the siliceous cake. At that the concentrate is ground up to coarseness - 25 micron with production of the X-ray-amorphous concentrate, and sulphatization is exercised within one minute without preheating of the sulfatized concentrate. The technical result of the invention is the increased extraction of lithium at small duration of the production process and low power inputs.
EFFECT: invention ensures the increased extraction of lithium at small duration of the production process and low power inputs.
