FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, particularly to compositions of sintered friction materials on the basis of iron. It can be used for operation in cushion assembly. Sintered friction material contains, wt %: copper 5.0-7.0; graphite 4.0-5.0; asbestos 2.0-3.0; silicide of carbon 4.0-6.0; ferrick sulphate 5.0-6.0; cobalt 3.0-4.0; phosphoric slag 3.0-4.0; iron - the rest. Material allows high wear resistance.
EFFECT: wear resistance increasing of alloy.
