FIELD: electric cables and methods for their manufacture and application.
SUBSTANCE: proposed electric cable has at least one insulated conductor and one or more armored wires wound on this insulated conductor. Armored wires have high-strength core covered with sheath made of corrosion-resistant alloy; this sheath has in its composition beryllium-copper based alloys, nickel-chromium based alloys, super-austenitic stainless steels, nickel-cobalt based alloys, nickel-molybdenum-chromium based alloys, and the like. Electric cable insulated conductor is assembled of seven metal conductors covered with insulating material; insulated conductor is covered with first layer of armored wires and second layer of armored wires overall.
EFFECT: enhanced strength and corrosion-attrition resistance, eliminated probability of cracking and zinc dust accumulation in production environment.
