FIELD: cable manufacturing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for manufacturing a cable, a power cable and a pumping system. A method for making a cable includes extruding cross-linked polyethylene around a lead (Pb) barrier layer in contact with a lead (Pb) barrier layer located around the core to form a knot and reinforcing at least one of the assemblies with metal armor so that the metal armor is in contact with cross-linked polyethylene to form the cable. The cable configuration, in which the amortizing layer is in contact with the barrier lead layer and the metal armor, ensures mechanical amortization and protection against deformation of the barrier lead layer when winding the armor to form the cable.
EFFECT: invention improves the process of cable manufacturing.
