FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electromagnetic transformers. The transformer contains an insulated cylindrical ferromagnetic magnetic core, concentrically located primary and secondary windings. At the ends of the cylindrical ferromagnetic magnetic circuit, the upper and lower contact pads to which the circuit is connected are rigidly fixed. The circuit consists of a resistor, power supply and contactor connected in series. A primary winding made in the form of a spring is rigidly attached to the upper contact pad to ensure electrical contact, to the other end of which a rod is rigidly attached, ending with a movable contact that, in the de-energized state, is in contact with the lower contact pad. On the inner side surface of the cylindrical ferromagnetic magnetic core there is a cylindrical secondary winding covering the primary winding and intended for connection to the load.
EFFECT: expanding the functionality of using a transformer due to the ability to interrupt the direct current flowing through the primary winding, which makes it possible to induce an EMF in the secondary winding when the primary winding is energized with direct current.
