FIELD: electric engineering, namely, heating pipelines, which may be used for heating and transportation of various liquid or gaseous substances, including aggressive ones.
SUBSTANCE: electric heater contains a pipeline. Inside the pipeline, a heating element is positioned made of graphite-carbon material, provided with intermediate construction layer and reflective screen of foil-clad material. Between the reflective screen and the pipeline a heat-isolation layer of polyurethane foam is positioned. A hermetic layer is applied onto internal surface of the pipeline, made of non-woven material, saturated with binding agent. The pipeline and the intermediate construction layer are made of composite fibrous material in form of glass ribbon, or braid, or sheet, previously saturated with liquid epoxy or vinyl-ether binding agent and hardened at the temperature of 120÷150°C.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of heating due to possible redirection of an additional heat flow from the reflective screen into substance being transported.
