FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves cutting out frontal muscle flap and dividing it into three parts. Incision is done above upper lid cartilage along natural fold. The cartilage is exposed all along its length. Ophthalmosurgical allotransplant is sutured to cartilage with allotendon sutures. Tendinous muscle part is formed by suturing descended frontal muscle flap portions to allotransplant with allotendon sutures. Eyelash positions are aligned by fixing eyelash edge on the allotransplant with allotendon sutures.
EFFECT: improved upper eyelid mobility; prevented entropion.
