FIELD: equipment allowing desired concentrations of carbon dioxide (hypercapnia) and oxygen (hypoxy) to be created using rebreathing method in outside closed contour for producing of therapeutic and exercising effect, and also resistance to breathing.
SUBSTANCE: controllable breathing exerciser is furnished with sensors for measuring carbon dioxide and oxygen concentrations. Separation of inspiratory and expiratory time intervals and dosed formation in mixer of desired composition of air to be inhaled by varying diameter of nozzle opening allows therapeutic or exercising loading to be provided by outer breathing factors, with physiological structure of breathing process being maintained.
EFFECT: increased efficiency by objective controlling of therapeutic and exercising effect.
