FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment. The apparatus comprises a mouthpiece, a carbon dioxide concentration sensor, a variable volume mixer of expired and mixed fresh air, a T-tube with a harmful impurity filter, a respiratory bag and a capped valve with a variable diameter hole. In the apparatus, there are applied a dry-air harmful impurity filter of expired air and the capped valve for dosing fresh air suction. The primary therapeutic effect is provided by hypercapnia, while accompanying hypoxia is of secondary importance with practically complete arterial blood oxygenation.
EFFECT: development of the apparatus for generating the therapeutic carbon dioxide concentrations in inhalation.
