SUBSTANCE: invention relates to frit compositions for enamel cover applied on articles made of steel and cast iron. Proposed frit comprises the following components, wt.-%: SiO₂, 29.0-34.0; Al₂O₃, 2.0-3.0; B₂O₃, 19.0-23.0; CaO, 13.0-17.0; Na₂O, 13.0-17.0; Na₂SiF₆, 2.0-3.0; Na₃AlF₆, 0.5-1.5; ZrO₂, 0.5-1.5; Cr₂O₃, 1.0-3.0; S'', 1.0-2.0; Li₂O, 3.0-4.0, and MgO, 3.0-4.0. Invention provides enhancing spreadability of enamel.
