FIELD: antifriction materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preparation of self-lubricating materials, which can be used for parts of turbomachines. Dense material self-lubricating throughout its volume is formed by a metal matrix containing 1 to 30% of solid lubricant particles with volume density more than 90%. Preparation thereof comprises preliminarily preparing homogeneous mixture from metallic powder material, solid lubricant particles, and organic binder. Resulting mixture is molded involving pressing or injection casting to give blank, which is then removed from mold, freed of binder, and caked. Final material has coefficient of friction less than 0.3 and mechanical strength at least 400 MPa within temperature range 300 to 600°C.
EFFECT: enhanced antifriction properties and strength.
