FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, particularly to production of solid self-lubing material. Mix of powders comprises powder of metal alloy that makes material matrix, cerium trifluoride CeF3 and compound with hexagonal laminar structure. Particles CeF3 are implanted into matrix without interaction with said metal alloy in sintering, while particles of the compound with hexagonal structure interact with metal alloy component in powder sintering with formation of lubing phase that comprises, at least one compound with hexagonal structure.
EFFECT: material produced by forming and sintering powder mix features high self-lubricating properties and high wear resistance in wide temperature range.
