FIELD: process for deposition of coating on sliding surface of fire-resistant member, may be used in manufacture and repair of gas turbine vanes.
SUBSTANCE: method involves using electrode from green compact of material having lubricating properties at elevated temperature, or mixture of fire-resistant solid material and material having lubricating properties at elevated temperature; depositing coating by generating pulsed electric discharge between electrode and sliding surface; forming coating layer from electrode material or product of reaction of electrode material with sliding surface using electric discharge energy. Fire-resistant material is any of CBN, TiC, TiN, TiAlN, TiB2, WC, Cr2C2, SiC, ZrC, VC, B4C, Si3N4, ZrO2, and Al2O3, or mixture thereof. Material having lubricating properties at elevated temperature contains chromium and/or chromium oxide (Cr2O3) and/or hexaboric nitride (hBN).
EFFECT: increased wear resistance and improved lubricating properties of coating layer at elevated temperature.
