FIELD: air conditioning and plenum ventilation systems.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method of air enrichment with ions and ozone can be used in plenum ventilation systems. According to proposed method, trains of voltage pulses of one polarity are applied to corona-discharge electrodes in turn and then, with pause exceeding time of relative recombination of ions of negative and positive polarity, trains of voltage pulses of other polarity are applied to electrodes. Concentrations of ions of different polarities are regulated by changing pulse repetition frequency in trains, duration of trains of voltage pulses of each polarity and duration of pauses. Simultaneously with voltage pulses applied to corona-discharge electrode or in pauses between trains of different polarity pulses, voltage pulses with amplitude sufficient to cause corona discharge of capacitance type are applied to ozonizing electrodes. Concentration of ozone is regulated by changing duration of supply of voltage to ozonizing electrodes.
EFFECT: provision of uniform distribution of ozone and oxygen ions of both polarities and concentrations.
