FIELD: salvaging of ammunition by extraction of the explosive from the ammunition bodies and simultaneous primary processing (granulation) of the extracted explosive.
SUBSTANCE: the explosive is extracted from the ammunition body by melting by way of heating of the external surface of the ammunition body by steam. The installation has several melting and granulation devices containing additional melting chambers located between them. All melting chambers are designed for placing of the ammunition with the explosive and heating in them. Located under the meting chambers is the explosive melt heated collector providing for filtering and distribution of the melt among the weighters. The weighters form the size of the melt drops, which from the weighter get onto the cooled surface of the crystallizer cylinder, where they solidify in the form of granules. The granules are removed by a special device and discharged into a vessel.
EFFECT: simplified construction of the installation, simplified servicing of it, as well as the absence of the power-intensive equipment make the installation safe and economically efficiency.
