FIELD: uncharging of projectiles; extraction of trotyl-base explosive.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method of obtaining scaled material from salvaged projectiles includes extraction of trotyl-containing explosives under action of working medium; projectiles are placed in unit for dipping in working medium of melting unit and explosive is subjected to action of working medium till melting of product; when required level has been reached as indicated by level indicator, molten product is fed via product line to drain valve, inspection chute and then to crystallizer. Line for obtaining scaled product includes units for dipping the articles in working medium, product line equipped with twin valve and inspection chute and crystallizer consisting of bath and unit for making the scaled product; melting unit, product line, inspection chute and bath of crystallizer are mounted at inclination of no less than 2 deg.

EFFECT: enhanced safety of uncharging process; low cost of process.
