FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed control process includes current pulse supply to polarizing coil, its initiation being in advance of current pulse feed to control coil by time needed for current build-up in polarizing coil up to magnitude sufficient to obtain desired operating time. Reverse-polarity current pulse whose origin is in advance of control winding disconnection moment is supplied to polarizing coil when armature drops out prior to control coil disconnection.
EFFECT: enhanced speed of response, reduced heating of coil, reduced size and mass.
