FIELD: electrical engineering; alternating-current consists.
SUBSTANCE: proposed block system of high-voltage locomotive chamber is designed to disable attending personnel access to high-voltage chamber of locomotive when current collector of the latter is energized; it has potential transformer whose primary winding is connected through one lead directly to current collector power bus and through other lead, to locomotive ground; bridge rectifier connected to secondary winding of potential transformer; resistive voltage divider connected to bridge rectifier; electronic or microprocessor no-break power supply unit connected to resistive voltage divider tap and to power supply of locomotive control circuits; and also protective valve.
EFFECT: disabling personnel access to high-voltage chamber when current collector is energized due to eliminating impact of main switch position (open or closed) on block system operation.
