FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves applying ultrasonic injured articulation scanning. Transducer is set along longer segment axis corresponding to anatomical femur head projection. Anteroexterior cotyloid cavity glenoidal lip segment density measurement is carried out. The segment corresponds to triangular region restricted by superoexterior cotyloid cavity edge being tangential to superoexterior femur head contour and vertical line drawn from superoexterior cotyloid cavity edge to the femur end. Density value being equal to 29-32 conditional units, II stage of the disease is to be diagnosed. No abnormal changes being found in the joint, cotyloid cavity glenoidal lip segment density is equal to 20-23 conditional units.
EFFECT: high accuracy in diagnosing the disease both in single and in both hip joints.
