FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out tarsal osteotomy. Longitudinal foot vault is formed and fixed with wires and plaster bandage. Transverse tarsal bone osteotomy is carried out at the level of wedge-like bones in calcaneus probation cases. Longitudinal foot vault is formed by forming wedge-like regenerates turned with its base outside and upward. Calcaneus osteotomy is carried out in horizontal plane and the wedge-like regenerate is formed with its base turned outward. The wedge-like regenerates are formed by using traction in external fixation apparatus at a rate of 1 mm per day fixing it therein for 1.5 months until required correction degree is achieved.
EFFECT: reliable foot fixation and correction rigidity; excluded foot shortening; reduced risk of traumatic complications; accelerated treatment course.
