FIELD: plastic metal working; impulse impact action devices.

SUBSTANCE: proposed device is connected with means for creating stress impulse in tool which include energy accumulation space arranged in impact device housing and limited by housing, and separate transfer member arranged for shifting tool in axial direction relative to housing of impact device. Energy accumulating space is filled up with flexible reversible energy accumulating material. Transfer member is made for arrangement in certain position relative to housing of impact device at preset stressed state of energy accumulating material and for displacement from said position relative to housing of impact device to tool. Means are provided to change over energy accumulating material into stressed state by increasing pressure, and means for sharp release of transfer member to provide its movement to tool. Device is made to provide strong pressing of tool end to transfer member in said position at preset stressed state of energy accumulating material either directly or through separate transfer part and deliver stresses in form of impulse wave trough transfer member to tool at sharp removal of stressed state of energy accumulating material.

EFFECT: improved efficiency of operation owing to increased frequency of stroke impacts.
