FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to hammering devices and to methods of surge generation in hammering devices. The hammering device consists of a frame, wherein designed to length travel tool is assembled, of means for control over working fluid supply in the hammering device, of means for generating a surge in the tool by means of working fluid pressure, of a working chamber completely filled with working fluid and of means of charging working fluid with energy, when working fluid is supplied to the hammering device for surge generation. A transmission piston is installed in the working chamber; this piston is designed to move the tool lengthwise relative to the frame. The transmission piston contacts the tool at surge generation. The means of control provide abrupt growth of pressure in the working chamber for generating a surge in the tool and termination of surge generating in the tool during working fluid kick form the working chamber to return the transmission piston into its initial position.
EFFECT: decreased dynamic loads in hammering device.
