FIELD: pulp-and-paper industry, in particular, equipment for guiding of woven web in papermaking machine and fixing it in right place.
SUBSTANCE: gripping-guiding device has first part 400 with rigid supporting member 410 which is attached to respective end of woven web, transverse to direction of future movement thereof within papermaking machine. Supporting member has a plurality of spaced apart openings 420 provided throughout the width of said member. First tier 430 is defined by rope sequentially passed through said openings so as to form self-aligning loops. Second rope is sequentially passed through said first tier loops so as to form respective self-aligning loops of second tier 440. There is also pulling ring 450 onto which ring second tier loops are to be strung and which is adapted for pulling of woven web through papermaking machine.
EFFECT: uniform tensioning of web through the entire width of woven object to be guided into papermaking machine and, accordingly, elimination of damage to web and machine.
