FIELD: pulp-and-paper industry. SUBSTANCE: sieve laying apparatus is made in the form of triangle comprising base covered with plastic and provided with reinforcing plastic strips positioned at both sides of base. Apparatus is further provided with fastening device extending along base and adapted for attachment of base to front edge of papermaking machine and fastening device positioned near apex and adapted for attachment of sieve laying apparatus. Apparatus may be repeatedly used for laying of sieve in papermaking machine. EFFECT: improved qualities, prolonged service life and simplified laying of sieve. 13 cl, 8 dwg
