FIELD: optical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: projection screen can be used for visualization of image built by projectors. Projection screen has flexible substrate, mass of optical fibers inserted into substrate in perpendicular to its surface, and layer of light-dissipating material disposed onto substrate among optical fibers. Any optical fiber has side surface, internal edge, which is disposed inside substrate, and external edge being disposed outside. There are mirrors among internal edges of optical fibers and substrate. Reflecting surfaces of mirrors are oriented in direction of optical fibers.
EFFECT: higher quality of visualization.
