FIELD: projection equipment, viewing screens and other articles. SUBSTANCE: optical condenser and optical articles with such condenser include focon-lens raster for light concentration made in the form of matrix with hollow focons and lens raster. Focons are manufactured in the form of truncated cones or pyramids with side shells reflecting light inwards, with inlet faces reflecting light inwards and with transparent outlet faces. Light collecting lenses of raster are tight- fitted to output faces of focon and are manufactured in the form of monolithic lens raster or are anchored in lens raster and are matched with outlet faces of focons. Lens raster can be fabricated from glass ball lenses. Light sources are positioned in optical articles with focon-lens raster on inlet faces inside focons. Additional light sources and/or reflectors and/or antiglare coats can be located on outside of focons and/or on rear side of lens raster (on side of focons). Light guides for input of light beams of outside illumination from external light sources located beyond faces of condenser can be placed in inlet faces of focons and/or between focons and lens raster. Reflectors of inlet faces and side surfaces of focons and lens raster can be made transparent to light exciting luminophors (light sources inside optical articles) but reflecting visible light concentrated by raster condenser. Optical raster condensers and articles can have minimum thickness and weight, can have any geometric form and display high light efficiency with increased brightness of images. EFFECT: minimized thickness and weight, high efficiency. 7 cl, 4 dwg
