FIELD: electrical engineering; linear asynchronous stepping drives for robots and machine tools.
SUBSTANCE: proposed linear asynchronous drive has inductor incorporating core and coils and electricity conducting armature resting on ball supports. Second and third cores are provided with toothed racks secured on their rear end, that is on end opposing active one. Toothed racks are engageable with gear wheel whose axle 10 is coupled with their turn drive. Five coils of each core winding forming rows along inductor longitudinal axis are connected to voltage supply, phase sequence in rows being forward up to center and opposite past center. Second and third cores are displaced downwards through one pole pitch to afford stepping of electricity conducting armature.
EFFECT: simplified design.
