FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: stepping motor (1) includes stator (2) with cogs carrying phase coils in stator end part, disc rotor switching electroconductive part, and commutation device connected with phase coils of the stator. Phase coil beginnings are connected to zero wire connection terminals. Ends of each coil are connected over closing contacts to respective power supply phase connection terminals. Control unit of commutation device can switch five phase coils forming arched assembly, with one phase sequence in one assembly half and opposite phase sequence in the other assembly half, simultaneously in order to fixate disc rotor suspended in magnetic field. To commence rotor stepping the last coil of the assembly is disconnected. To complete stepping, the first phase coil of the assembly is disconnected and simultaneously the phase coil that follows the last coil of the original assembly is connected. Rotor includes diametric slit filled with insulation material.
EFFECT: possible magnetic suspension of rotor in self-inductance field of motor.
