FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves taking multiple pictures of a patient in standing position using digital low-dose X-ray apparatus. The patient is turned about vertical axis in pauses between following exposures at an angle of α=arctg(s/l), where s is the distance from X-ray tube focal point to patient rotation axis within the range of 0-90°. The produced images are analyzed in displaying them in turn on video monitor screen with a frequency of 5-7 frames/s in forward and reverse sequence.
EFFECT: increased data volume; enabled spatial image production; high accuracy in determining shape and size of organs and tumors.
