FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves producing stereograms from a pair of X- ray pictures taken before and after treatment under the identical geometric conditions and power modes, representing internal structure of an object under study, topometric examination of its elements and comparative evaluation of the results in the first and the second stereogram. Depth and sizes of lesion focus are determined and stereoscopic image of the measurement grid at the lesion focus depth is synthesized by solving inverse photogrammetric problem. The grid is applied to the colored lesion focus contours image and the left and the right images are saved in the memory unit of the X-ray device. When making stereoscopic analysis of the object under study, the left and the right images of the synthesized grid with the colored lesion focus contours image are superimposed over the left and right photos of the second stereogram. Pathologic process dynamics and treatment effectiveness conclusions are drawn from lesion focus boundary changes relative to the initial image.
